"Janet has helped me in many ways First was learning to understand and manage Fibromyalgia. That was also when I started yoga classes. Yoga has increased my strength and balance and now I am able to get up off the floor without help. Quite an accomplishment for an overweight senior citizen! Janet has also helped me strengthen and improve my bladder control. This was a difficulty discussion for me, but Janet makes it easy to talk to her about the most sensitive topics. Her "bedside manner" is caring and non-judgmental I would recommend Janet to anyone who needs health coaching for personal improvement as well as yoga to improve overall well being."

I went through pelvic floor physical therapy with Dr. Janet Drake Whalen in 2025 and was incredibly impressed by her knowledge, clinical experience, and proficiency with manual therapy techniques. As someone who works in the medical field and has been around a lot of different clinicians, her charisma, bedside manner, and professionalism were remarkable. Janet treated me for male urge/stress incontinence and throughout our visits I saw a significant decrease in symptoms along with a huge boost in quality of life. If I ever need pelvic floor PT again in the future, I will likely seek out her services!

LE

Janet Drake Whalen has been my physical therapist 4 times now. I started my journey with her during my first pregnancy over 3 years ago due to concerns over back pain. She was able to manage my pain and get me through the pregnancy. After having a cesarean with my first, I returned to her to get my core activated properly and strength back. She was able to get me back to my active lifestyle with spinning, running and exercise. A couple years later I returned after hip pain began, and then finally during my current pregnancy. Her knowledge, expertise and attention to detail is above any other physical therapist I've worked with. She always explains her thought process and incorporates your goals into the treatment plan. She also provides you with specific exercises to work on outside of the sessions. I would highly recommend her to every pregnant or postpartum woman!text box a settings menu will appear.

“I can’t recommend Janet highly enough. She guided me through pelvic floor PT during pregnancy and postpartum, and her expertise made a real difference at a time when I felt pretty lost about what was going on with my body.”
